Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI'm having the same problem all the other encoders are having - Audio is not syncing to video when encoding longer movies(over an hour). Any idea or this just an inherent problem with the player that Meizu doesn't seem to care about.
I gave my daughter a player yesterday for her birthday and instead of wanting to play music on it, she immediately went to play the movie I put on it for her, and she noticed the problem with audio syncing..
I have an 8gb player too , but I gave up on the movie thing along time ago because I could never get past the syncing issues.
Not sure why Meizu isn't addressing the proble, as from the thread activity, its an obvious issue.
Is there any way to compensate for audio delay in the Loli converter?
Thanks,
michael

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI can imagine that meizu don't care about really long movies, because they just think that playing long movie on 2.4 inch screen is weird.
So am i.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI'm trying the Loli converter on a Vista/64 system. It's running, but I'm new to video converters and am not sure how it should be properly used.
For example, I have a music DVD I would like to convert so I can watch it on my M6/4 Gb. How can I get the converter to do the whole DVD without having to run all the VOB files individually? Or is that just the way it works?
Turns out the first 2 VOB files are just the opening of the DVD where you get to choose the options, etc. But I didn't know that until I converted them and watched on the M6. Is there a better way to do this?
But even if I have to convert individually, this is working great!
I have seen a couple of error msgs pop up on the current job, but it's not in English... so I don't know what's going on.

Thanks. Trying it now. Says it will take 30 minutes to convert the DVD. I see fps in the 93+ range.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsLoli converter V2 RC3
First pass and basically, it looks very good. One problem: the DVD I converted has 3 audio options:
1) Band commentary
2) DD 5.1
3) Dolby stereo
When it converted, it used the band commentary. How can I change that?
Also, FF/RW bumps the player back to the menu.
The earlier version of your converter (files only) left the format in widescreen (which I prefer). Is it possible to have that option?
One suggestion: include the version number in your "about" screen.
Thanks!
Edit: the prior version allowed FF/RW to work properly.
Edit 2: My latest copy of the Loliconverter does not show the same options your website shows. I do not have M6 Ultra and M6 Quality in the selection box to the right.Last edited by speedlever; 07-03-2007 at 05:33 PM. Reason: FF/RW comment

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts1. DVD LANG
No currently there is not option for select dvd languge (but there will be) ... dvd options and encoding is realy basic now \:
I want to be able to convert any video to play on player so i'm aimed on it not adding features like selecting dvd language.
2. FF/RW
well FF/RW will probably work if you convert same video as you did with previous version, but don't work with video from your dvd. And probably will work with another converterd dvd. And problably after you will even find dvd that will not work at all after conversion.
M6 is realy pitchi in this. And i don't know why! If you know, tell me please!
3. widescreen
open m6.ini and change mode to 0 ... see http://rori.parba.cz/videoconverter/ and you should get idea how to do it ... maybe.
4. M6 ultra and M6 quality
... are my own presets, you can create some too i don't see any point in bundling it in program installer.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts1) I'm not sure what you're referring to regarding language. When I converted using the DVD option instead of files, the converter chose the audio option that includes the band commentary over the soundtrack.
I'm not sure how to proceed in order to fix this.
2) FF/RW - confusing to me why it works on converted individual VOB files but not on the same converted DVD.
3) Widescreen is easy enough to correct. However, Vista/64 is not letting me save the changed ini file!
---scratch this - I had to go in and change the individual file permissions to let me save the modified ini. Still figuring out Vista/64.
4) Ahh. presets. Gotcha.
Well, the main thing I'd like to correct is figure out how to convert the DVD without the converter choosing the commentary option from Audio options on the DVD menu. Any thoughts?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts1. you can't select audiotrack in current version
2. for me to ... bad software in player ... but virtual dub converted movies work always ... very weird for me!
It is not hard to implement, but i will not do it until i solve video convertion to work for ANY file ...

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI was able to get the audio track I wanted in a wide screen presentation on my M6. I used SmartRipper to generate a large VOB file and then used the Loli converter to generate the avi file. Transferred to the M6 and it works fine. FF/RW work. I'm pleased... but it sure wasn't an easy road to get here. I had to run through a couple of SmartRipper iterations in order to get the audio track I wanted. My first guess gave me the commentary version again. I wish there was an easy way to tell the differences in the audio versions in such a situation so you don't run the risk of converting the wrong audio track.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI sold my M6 today [because of it's bugs and mainly low audio output, biggest bug i hated was that thing with mencoder encoded video don't worked and virtual dub did] so don't except much for support for new things or so.
