How to get rid of the bar viewing photos

Hi,

When viewing photos and moving among them for a sec there's a bar below in the screen showing the current and total number of pics.
Anyway to take it out?? it remains on top of the image for a couple of secs.

I agree it's annoying, maybe make the bar transparent with firmware editor?

Can that be done?

magenta is the background used for transparent , so find the pic of the bar and make it all magenta or reduce size of bar so its a lot smaller.

try it and see.

Or you can just set the picture so that it changes itself.
