Batman -error - help!

When using Batman it sometimes aborts and i get the message:
avs2wav.exe has found an error
(freely translated from my language)

How do i fix this?

Windows Vista has some compatibility problems with avs2wav.exe. If the problem persists for you, do one of the following :
- get Windows XP
- deinstall Avisynth
- add "set avisynth=no" to your ~BatMan\plugins\do this when BatMan starts.bat

Note that you can't use the smooth framerate conversion without Avisynth.
I only wonder why some Vista owners have this kind of problem while others can use it without any problems.

I'm using XP Home Edition will try deinstalling Avisynth.

strange enough. There are lots of XP users who have no problems at all. Maybe it's some special videos that make your avs2wav.exe crash, or maybe it's your OS. Examine your videos with MediaInfo.

last time it happened was with a dvd

I have XP too and everything is fine. Since the program is the same, it must be something with your system. No idea then other than reinstalling everything from scratch or trying in a virtual machine.
