by the way, MEncoder has its problems with multi-core cpus, so I have made BatMan capable of running multiple times at once. You can simply run another instance of BatMan for each of your cores to make full use of them. The only downside is that you need different videos to convert for each instance. Still each instance is capable of batch processing as usual.
If you have a cpu with "Hyperthreading", don't misunderstand the two cores shown in the task manager as really having 2 cores. You don't have 2 cores, so you won't ever see one of them get over 50%. For instance, this is the case with the new Intel Atom processors.
