google video/podcast -> meizu

Hi everyone
I often come across a google video I want to download to my meizu. I start of by downloading the file as a podcast but, neither batman nor the original videoconverter can convert the file.

I'm talking about videoes like this one:
"Teaching Teaching & Understanding Understanding"

that is absolutely no wonder : I downloaded the above video (as .mp4) and tried the following :
- play it in Media Player Classic with a whole bunch of codecs and packs installed : doesn't work
- play it in VLC (the swiss army knife of video players) : doesn't work
- MediaInfo : no more information other than it's an mp4

---> no idea how this stuff either gets played or how it is meant to be converted.

Try playing it with MPlayer. (mplayerhq.com) It works for me.

Oh, and I could convert it successfully with Magic Video Converter to AVI - Xvid (with the correct parameters), and my miniplayer played it without any error. Unfortunately this converter is not free...

Downloaded with save2pc pro saved as .avi and converted with i Riverter( always been using this one and it never failed ) working on my M6 perfectly

save2pc pro is not free and therefore not an acceptable solution. The free version (light) cannot download from google video.

Hi everyone and thanks for your participation in the thread. I noticed that there was a difference in the filesize and expected filesize on the website. When i "re-downloaded" the file a conversion with batman was possible. So the problem with this actual film has been solved
