If you are using the original meizu converter, you will get choppy playback for 2 reasons :
- it only uses 18 fps instead of the supported 20
- it downscales the fps by dropping frames instead of calculating intermediate frames (framerate conversion)
Simple solution ? Try BatMan. It offers 20fps and proper framerate conversion at a snap of your fingers. If you like to go the hard way, use VirtualDub.BatMan, the free video converter for Meizu players. Problems ? English First Aid here. Deutsche Erste Hilfe hier.

too high (peak) bit rate ; the M6 has limited cpu power ; you should keep somewhere to 300kbits , possibly even.. lower as for the average target bit rate ( not much to loose ; imho)
>it laggs..
audio is out of sync ? this can be fixed ; but...
it looks like you should , effectively , give a try at Batman that is definitely a solid no brainer solution , if you don't want or know how to set things "manually" using VDub + XviD for instance
given there is also rather little to gain , going "the hard way"

now I disagree with this
>it downscales the fps by dropping frames instead of calculating intermediate frames (framerate conversion)
a frame rate conversion remains some mixed combination of : drop frames , or drop and duplicate frames, or duplicate frames ; with a calculation mode that does not take in account the ' visual importance' of frames ; in the first place simply for the ...smoother possible new rate
so there is no 'calculation' ( ie no 'interpolation' ; which is what could come to mind ) of "intermediate frames" (no 'new' frames !? ) when doing a frame rate conversion ...Last edited by trane; 03-03-2008 at 05:12 PM.
