What reliably converts .flv to meizu-friendly .avi?

So I've got this Firefox extension that lets me download videos off of youtube and the like, but it tends to save them in .flv format (Flash Video).

What programs will convert .flv to an .avi file that;ll play smoothly on a meizu?

My player hasn't arrived yet but I tested some on my brother's. Right now I'm using SUPER Video Converter, and I thought I had the settings dialed in just right, but the .avi it made ended up skipping really bad on the mini player

However, I ran it through meizu's own video converter after converting it to .avi and the meizu converter seems to have fixed the problem.

But can I turn a .flv into an .avi that doesn;t need to be converted a second time to work smoothly?

BatMan can do it.

use batman with the newest flv plugin, its really good!

I highly recommend Batman. Super also converts, but Batman is a lot easier to use.
