video for windows encoders and virtual dub

What encoders do you use in virtual dub?
Im using kopei's build of xvid and lame.acl (im not 100% sure about acl, but something based on lame) and my encoded videos are unplayable in player, i think that i use right settins for econding.

That should give you an idea if you used the right settings. If it still doesent work try another encoder prog before usin VD. For most people that seems to work.

I use xvid and lame in VD all the time to produce videos for my M6. Something must be wrong with your settings.

Well i don't use same xvid profile, i use portable with changed framerate and resolution and bitrate and quantitezer to what appeares on thread mentioned above ...

Could you download GSpot and post a screenshot of what it says about one of your converted movie files?
