BADAK Video Conversion

Hi.Here are my Badak settings for sync Audio\Video and better quality without hickups and Artifacts.I added the needed mencoder commands and now it runs nice on the m6.Download below.greetz cruelty

ive tried to use badak, but im always stuck.
it says it converted the file, in like 3 seconds, haha.
i just use the bundled converter, simple.

Well the bundled app works fine so far, but appreciate the other options. Like I've seen suggested elsewhere a wiki would help consolidate the info spread thru-out these forums, and there is enough here to start one. Thanks to Err0r and the rest for all the work and enthusiasm.

I have tried the new "Badak" with the presets, but some went wrong , first time around the video was vertical :eek:and the second time it was upside down

I don't see a setting for the M6 in the preset folder , am I missing something??
besides these little problems , the converter is the shit , the audio is sync with the video, no artifacts , sharp picture , I'm gonna stick with this one , but can some one help , with the rotation :D

ok got "Badak" going as I type , tried 1 and 2 pass encoding , can't really tell the difference IMO:D
the settings work really, really good, picture is great but the main thing is no audio lag
I am converting "Smoking Aces" right now , 1pass and I'll report back later to tell you guys , how long it took

ok, got done with the converting of "Smoking Aces" , it is superb
total of 7files 416mb in 27min , not bad at all , everything is Kosher with the movie playing on the M6 :D , it's a keeper , I've tried other programs and by far "Badak" takes the cake , user friendly (thx to "Cruelty2k4" for the settings) , multiple files conversion , sound sync with pic what else do u want.... :D
Hope others are gonna try and give some feedback.

Can you please explain why it does not work ?
and what i should do for badak to work ?

EDIT : Allright, i fixed it, i had the character problem (as bjornjon).
Badak wont work with a directory with the french character é.
Now its working just fine.

Badak worked for me the first time and gives me the results that's satisfactory. Highly recomended to any novice to use this package. It's just a few simple selections and the program is done.

Then all you do is drag the file into the Meizu "video" directory and let it happen... the transfer.

There are other programs that gives you sharper image, but you will not notice the difference on your player and it's very involved and difficult for an average person.
VirtualDub and other programs comes to mind.

My machines are Win-XP SP-2 in case you wondering.
Be sure you download the latest Badak file and the proper one for your computer. (it will show it on the download site)

You may also try Batman program but it's a bit different... and works for most people. I was not successful to achive result, but it could be related of my machine or bug in windowsXP and may not be the Batman program's fault.

It's matter of preference as which one you like.

Im new here and new M6 owner and was gonna bring this kickass player back tomorrow until Cruelty2k4 change my decision. Thank you so much bro im enjoying season one of will and grace because of badak and you.

Anyone an idea how to include subtitles ?
Movie and subtitle file have the same name and when I add the movie it says under 'sub' exist. So it looks like the subtitle file is recognized, but after conversion there are no subs....

Someone please help me. I want to add subtitles to film and I don't know how. Of course i changed the text file to .smi like it is mentioned in options but it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?
