don't use the meizu video converter, because it sucks. :D use batman instead, there are many topics about it, and it's the easiest to use video converting software.

i think its a decent converter it squashes the files down loads so ya can fit loads on , but the lip sync seems to be the only problem for me

don't convert the already converted video, just convert the original and see what happens!

i tried doing that but it does not work ... , all i need to know is how to rotate the video so it plays horizontally , not vertically

Oozey, BatMan's mission (other than saving Gotham City) is to convert "normal" (unrotated) videos into Meizu compatible format in a "fire and forget" manner. This procedure includes a rotation because the Meizu plays rotated videos smoother than unrotated ones.
If for any reason you don't want to rotate during processing, you can use the special command "norotate".
If you have already a rotated video, there is no other way to rotate it back than to re-encode it, which will lead to quality loss (the more it was already compressed, the more it will lose quality).

To make a long story short : just take your original video file and convert it with BatMan and all will be good. Don't think about re-converting an already converted video because it will suck.

You should rip the file from the DVD first.

to rip a DVD with BatMan, drag and drop either the drive icon or the VIDEO_TS.IFO to the BatMan icon on your desktop. No other file from the DVD will work.
