I'll try it out on another box. Perhaps servicepack 3 is the guilty party.

No that's not the problem it gives the same error with all files.
Something is wrong with my dos-installation,
seems like it doesn't recognise the script or more specific the path where the new file should be put.
Is there a way to specifiy where the new video should be placed?

by default, the input directory = output directory. But that is not your problem. Just try on another machine, yours has uncertain problems.

Ok i tried to convert a show that was maybe about 25 min long.

After i did everything worked fine up until about 15min and thats when the sound started to go off sync. It started little by little but at 24min the voices were off by at least 3sec.

    Why is this happening?

when i convert music videos (4-6min) the voices dont get off sync just when shows. And i havent even tried a movie yet.

that's a bug in the Meizu firmware, there is nothing you can initially do to prevent it from happening. It just goes slowly out of sync.
Fortunately, you can make it play sync again by simply hitting FF or RW once.

Yea i tried that and wouldnt work

But when i converted videos wit VirtualDub the Video would play crappy and Voice would go out of sync but wen i hit FF or RW it would go back to normal

But wit Batman vidoe and sound is all good but once its out of sync evne after i press FF or RW it doesnt go back

I guess ill just use my M6sl for music videos or anything else under 10 min

I don't know what's different with your player, the FF/RW trick works with 100% of my videos, and I have tried hundreds of them during the many months that I have been testing video conversions with the M6SP. Does it fast forward or rewind at all with yours ?

Yes my FF and RW work but the voice stays off sync

Do you think maybe becasue its a cartoon instead of a regular show?

    Also i have the M6sl

and i also tried starting the show at the begening then FF all the way to about 2 min left and the voice is still off sync but first 10to 15min is perfect

it sounds to me like the video itself is already off-sync. You can check that by playing it back with your PC (mind the "regular" off-sync of 230ms).

It's not really a problem, but I dont think I need to create a new topic for it.
Is it possible to let Batman convert a movie, but don't bake the subtitles in it.
Because when I use ffdshow, it inserts subtitles and I like the size/font of ffdshow more than the font used in Batman. I could rename the substitle file, but then ffdshow doesn't see or insert it either.

Also the subtitles are not in sync after converting with batman, but maybe the subs from ffdshow are.

    Edit; file nfo: 699MB, 01:41:18

is the subtitle an extra file or is it a stream within the movie ?

    It's an external .srt file.
I could rename it, then Batman doens't see it, but neither does fddshow.

    1. move your subtitle file into another folder, doesn't matter where
    2. go into ffdshow settings / subtitles and switch from "search in" to "file" and point to your subtitle file
    3. convert your video. ffdshow will find the subtitle, BatMan will not.
    4. move your subtitle file back

if you have plenty of spare time, you can create a BatMan plugin for this task.

OK thank you, this will to it for now
Subtitles are now in sync and the font is smaller.

    And one last question:
When I select a quality profile, it allways does 2 passes, is there a way to do 1 pass?
I could set up an custom profile but the Meizu M6 doens't play it. (even with the repair command)

    Used settings;

BTW; really like the program, normaly if something doens't work I just go and search something else, but I know other programs arent this simpel and give the same result.

the only profile that uses 1-pass is Q5 (because it uses the highest bitrate possible anyway), the others always use 2-pass, no way to circumvent that.
The best way to go would be to use Qc. You only have to set it up once, everything gets saved automatically for the next times.
Maybe your M6 doesn't like 32000 Hz. Just try 44100 instead (sounds much better anyway).
