BatMan - first aid in technical problems

oh wait, I didn't read properly. You don't have a "find" command in your vista for some reason.
Please download the following zip and extract the two files into your BatMan installation folder and it should work :

EDIT : I have included this into the new release of BatMan. So you can also just reload the Installer and the problem should be solved.

Thought i Had downloaded the lastest version....

However after asking for lang. selection it crashes.

"The procedure entry point ? Query Stream @fsn_file....................... could not be located in the dynamic lint libary ulid.dll"

Hope someone can help or at least point me to the lateset version that maybe runs

Hi fwheeler, ulid.dll is a windows system file. I think you have encountered a Windows problem. Try on another PC or reinstall Windows.

I had just put windows on this disk fresh with all windows updates and was just puting the first software on it after getting all the hardware drivers etc installed.....

sorry I can't help you there. You're the first to report this problem, so I believe it must be something with your system only. As I said before, try on another PC.

oh wait, it's not ulib.dll causing the problem, it's find.exe.
Try the following : delete find.exe in your "~Program Files\Batman" folder. Your system (Vista ?) might ship with a newer version. If that doesn't work, try to get a find.exe that is Vista compatible.

Since BatMan does not install into registry or system folders, you can easily remove the above mentioned folder to uninstall it.

yes, it does. Just try deleting BatMan's find.exe to use your system's one.
