Video and sound sync problems?

I tried a video on my M6 for the first time.. and guess what, it's one where the sound starts immediately at the start of the file. Guess what I found out? Just like my music, the M6 cuts off the first half second of the sound. THAT causes the video to be slightly out of sync with the sound. It's a bug that needs fixed, the M6 not playing sound at the start of the file, and playing VBRs correctly, too, since I'm sure it's related.

Also, before you ask, yes, the video is properly synced in other video programs. It's not a fault in the video not being synced with the sound. The video itself DOES start playing correctly, as far as my eyes can tell, but the sound cuts off the first half second, causing the video to be a half second behind the sound.

Hi,

Having finally managed to convert a video to play on my player (see other thread) I too can confirm that a avi file in which the sound is in synch on the computer plays out of sync on the miniplayer. This does imply a firmware bug.

I don't believe that's a bug... that should have chosen a faster CPU for their lousy programming.
