Before trying any other software, try upgrading to 2.000.1 first. Then, if the problem remains you can do a search for sync problems, it has been discussed thoroughly before. Finally, if that yields no result, create a new topic under "Video and Imaging".

Use "Audio Interleaving" in VirtualDub to fix any sync problems.

1: take a piece of the video where you have good sight on people speaking.

2: then determine if the audio is too late or too early (use positive values if the audio is too early, negative values if the audio is too late).

3: then fill in a value for example 1000 (if the audio is too early) or -1000 (if the audio too late). (1000 = 1 second)

4: look at the same sequence again and determine if the audio is (still) too late or (still) too early.

5: adjust your value according to what you've seen, you should be able to make smaller steps when you get nearer to actual right value.

6: repeat 4 and 5 until you get the audio in synch.

7: save your file.

I have the Dane-Elec M6 (with S1.010 FW).

I used Iriverter (18fps, 400k video, 96k mp3, pan scan) to convert a full DVD movie with subs and it works excellent!
Only 1 sec black screen when going to the next chapter and a couple small screendistortions but these are not disturbing.

I find it a nice feature to watch movies but to be for a 2 hour movie you can better watch it on your TV or PC.
