Does anyone know which converter/software(s) that I can support and convert .flv files directly into .avi files that can be played on my Meizu M6?

Yes, mediacoder is what i prefer too!
It works fine and allows all necessary setting
(and it`s easier to use than virtual dub- which is also a very good prog.)

I just got my m6 from Walgreens.com by Dane-electronic. First of all, how can I tell if I have the SP version. When I try to convert music videos with Video Convert that came with the package, the video and the audio doesn't sync. Please help me with the configuration on the setting menu so I can get it to work smoothly. I also downloaded VirtualDub, but clueless on using it. Which one would be easier to use? I also upgraded the FW to fw2.003 from Dane-elec.com. I can't find the radio feature and the volume on the player doesn't gets loud enough (35 is the max). I'm very new to the MZ product and this forum. I will appreciate any tips you provide me with. Thanks again for you time.

The D-E firmware from the Dane Digital site is for the EU only. It disables the FM radio and puts the volume limit due to EU restrictions.

Go to my website and on the left side of the home page is a download link for the latest D-E US firmware. You'll get back the FM and the 40 volume. All D-E players are SP's BTW.

Check out the accessories while you're there. A case is a must if you want to keep your player looking like new.

I don't belived that nobody post here very good "WisMencoder", so:

    download WisMencoder 1.99 (25mb)

    *translation to english
*After instaling software, overwrite the orginal file with this one, run prog and from "language" select "traditional chinesse".

It's based on mencoder, but works for me better that bundled software.
Why? It have more options, convert avi faster (you should tick it in video options), also support quene, but also support for subtitles x)
For sure it is not perfect, f.ex. it can't convert movies directly from dvd to miniplayer, but I can live without it;]

**Software found at official meizu forum.
    Black MEIZU M6 8GB + Creative EP-630 ^^
PS: Yes, I know.. my english sux;]
