    Conversion Issues

    Hi All

I have only had my M6 for one day but I am really liking it. I have downloaded the Batman program which is great and easy to use for getting video onto it.
I have so far converted a few AVI's but I tried a MP4 file through Batman which did convert the MP4 to AVI and whilst it plays on my PC, it won't play on the M6. Any ideas please?

    Thanks

did you try redoing the video using the repair command? Try looking at the file in a folder with the thumbnail view option on. I have found that if I don't get a "screen shot" of the video in thumbnail that it won't play on my meizu and I have to redo the conversion with the repair feature.

Where do I find the repair command?

I have looked at the file in the folder and the thumbnail does appear.

Thanks for helping me out here :D

The repair command is just that type in repair. After you have dragged the file you want to convert onto batman, the window comes up with what conversion option you want. After selecting your option (3, 4, 5, etc.) then it comes up with a message saing something like "what special options...." type in "repair" and hit enter. A new message should say somethink like "okay...." and then just hit enter again. See if that fixes your problem.

use freeware MediaInfo to determine what format your "mp4" video is in detail.
