    windows media video converting with virtualdub

    Hello,

    I wat a windows media video file convert with virtualdub, when i do that i see the error: No audio decompressor could be found to decompress the source audio format. (souce format tag: 0161)

    What nou ???
    If i convert the file with no audio than i see not an error, but i want a film with sound

    Same problem here, i think its becouse virtual dub is made for divx and not for wmv but i'm not sure.... sometimes it works good and other times i get the same error... it realy sucks when I want to put my subtitels on my movie...


    But you could try to install some video codecs and maby you could find some information on google i just use the stadard video converter to convert my videos and i have to say that this program always works...
