    Mediacoder (Great for Miniplayer)

Hi all ! First I want to thanks creators of this website, it helped me to choose Meizu miniplayer for christmas , and I want to say sorry for my bad english

I have used all of conversion programs listed in this forum... Only one succeed to convince me, because it can convert list of files in 1 time only, and it support a lot of formats ! This program is Mediacoder, an Open source project.
With the new versions, you have a miniplayer extension include, wich make this program very easy to use !!!

    look this :

    You can choose different framerate ( 400, 300 or 200 ), fps ( 20, 18 or 15, but i disadvise you 20 fps ... ), and resolution (320x240, 208x176, and 176x144) !

    It support :
    * MP3, Ogg Vorbis, AAC, AAC+, AAC+V2, MusePack, WMA, RealAudio
    * FLAC, WavPack, Monkey's Audio, OptimFrog, AAC Lossless, WMA Lossless, WAV/PCM
    * H.264, Xvid, DivX, MPEG 1/2/4, H.263, Flash Video, 3ivx, RealVideo, Windows Media
    * AVI, MPEG/VOB, Matroska, MP4, RealMedia, ASF/WMV, Quicktime, OGM
    * CD, VCD, DVD, CUE Sheet

Hope you will like it !!! :D

Wow! I'm getting some pretty nice quality conversions. I can't get it to preserve the widescreen aspect ratio when I convert movies though. It stretches the movie vertically even if I specify 16:9. Any thoughts? Thanks!

for danlas and doogie749, be sure you are in normal mode (option, user interface mode, normal mode).

Now just for danlas, go to subtitle in the down left corner, and type your country code ( try DK , DNK and 208 ) ...

for doogie749, go to picture in the down left corner, and enable Aspect ratio, then choose what you want, and if their is problem again , use crop option !

    [00-06 12:10:20] MEncoder unloaded
    [00-06 12:10:20] Finished transcoding job for dvd://

danlas , i found in a mediacoder wiki page what you need ! go here, ! their is a code list !

    I found this :

    Danish 1030 406 1252 DNK

It's write Codepage is in the fourth column

So your code is probably 1252 !

mac_hack, thank you for your help:D It seems to work now, but i wont be sure before the whole video is converted...

But now i have another problem... My converted files (Ice Harvest 360 MB) wont play on the miniplayer... It loads the video and after 3 secs of black screen it returns to the browser. Why?

Well, its mencocer based and i don't know if memcoder can make subtitles rotated, but when i start conversion and do preview subtitles are not ok (not rotated 90 degrees Clockwise).

Sorry for my terrible English, but i hope thees who use subtitles understand me (:
