Video playback freezes after about 5 mins.

hi, i#ve got a problem with my (new) m6 sp: the video playback freezes after playing for about 5 mins. The audio playback is stuck too. Only a hard-reset (pushing the enter button for 20 secs) helps to get it started again. Any ideas, anyone?

p.s.: i've used the video converter software which came with the player for encoding my video files.

Hi Timmbo, welcome. It freezes during normal mp3 playback as well ?

I ocassionly have this problem with some videos aswell. I just re-encode them and it works fine. Hope this helps.

Maybe hardware problem ?

... no, only when palying video files. mp3 playback is working fine.

Encode your video again. I suggest BatMan for converting. For problematic/corrupt videos BatMan offers a "repair" function.

Agreed. You have a badly encoded video file.
