With Google Picasa 2, you can auto-resize your pictures. Let's say you have 200 pictures in a folder, and you want them on your Meizu, Picasa 2 can automatically resize them and transfer them for you.
Although the miniPlayer can look at large pictures, there are disadvantages:
1. Takes more space than neccessary
2. Takes longer time to render
3. Resized images in the miniPlayer does not look good.
I have recently found an easy way to transfer images using Picasa 2. Below is a tutorial, download can be found at the end of this post.
1. Open Picasa 2 and scroll to the pictures or folder that you wish to transfer.
2. Select the files you wish to transfer and click "Export" on the bottom right corner.
3. Point location to your PICTURE folder inside the miniPlayer and choose a name for the folder where your images will be transferred to. Use the other settings like the image below:
4. Wait a while for it to work, then done!
Please download it using the link below:

A very nice and easy program!
But I use IrfanView for vieweing my pictures and it features a batch converter. So you can use that if you like.

Man, I've been looking for that in Picasa. I never thought "Export" would do it.
Instead, I've been using Windows' Image Resizer PowerToy - a little program written by developers to add extra functionality. Basically you select the images you want resized, right-click, and choose a size (they have a WinCE option that makes them fit a 240*320 screen, but for landscape pictures you have to use the Custom setting and change it to 320*240). It's really quick, but you have to transfer the new resized images to the Meizu yourself, and it tends to stick in some little compression blocks.
I'll definitely be using Picasa from now on, but if you don't want to use any more Google than you have to, the Image Resizer might be your best bet.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsgoogle picasa is an awesome program
if you are looking to shrink the size of pictures down in one whole heap, this is your program. (note: shrinking the size of pictures will greatly affect the outcome if you choose to get it develop)
but for the meizu, it is awesome.
just to let people compare, i shrunk 240MB of photos (300 photos) by using picasa to a eye-popping 5MB (still 300 photos). they display with unreal quality on the meizu!Meizu M8 MiniOne

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postssince someone brought this up again... just thought i'd add another image resizer to the list.
it's called faststone photo resizer and can be found here.
i haven't personally used this as i don't generally put lots of pictures in my m6. what i do use is the faststone capture (a screenshot utility) which is a GREAT freeware. so i thought, hey, any program made by these guys should be great as well. :D
why don't you guys give the faststone photo resizer a try and let me know if it's as good as picasa.
