Ive tried 2 things ive tried BADAK, virtual dub.... this is my second movie i converted and it doesn't work. I have shows that work... maybe The new firmware only lets us play 60minute videos???? Does that mean i need to split my movies into 2 parts???

well i managed today to convert a movie that works... but i didn't watch it till the end, so i'll tell tomorrow if it worked
i've seen on many places on the net, that u could split the movie to make it work, but there has to be another solution to watch an entire movie.
maybe you should give us the settings you're using on virtual dub

I sadly just can confirm that. It doesn't work properly for me even not with 2 different converters.

My miniplayer (S1.009) has no problem playing full lenth movies, I did a test by joining four 30min tv episodes, I used "virtualdub- mpeg2" to convert and join them and it plays fine, heres a photo -

I thinks the maximal size of vids must be 300mb or sth like this.
    i tried a video of 250mb - works.
    i tried a viedo of 350mb - doesn't work.

    but that's anyone's guess.

Full lenght movies DOES work on a 1.010 firmware.

I've converted 5 different movies using VIRTUALDUB and the settings given in this board, on of them was more than 2 hours and more than 350 MB
    They all work.

But with absolutly all other conversion software it did not work.

Conclusion : For long movies ( more than one hour ) use Virtualdub, for short ones, you have the choice ^^ ( WinMenc, Badack .... )

Ok I will try with virtual dub. Btw how about the photo album. When I played video after that my photo can't be displayed. I must turn off the meizu and turn on again when i want to see the photo album. But If I didn't play the video no problem. Have anyone get this problem??

Depends on what file types are u trying to convert to.

I use Winmenc all the time it works great. I usually convert AVi from torrent to the player , work flawlessly.

Firmware in T10 has some glitch or a short pause during long movies. It's better than firmware 9, which pause for like 3 seconds in long movies with annoying buzzing sound in the earphones.

I just converted a full length DVD movie to avi for my player. It plays with no problems.
    I have firmware S1.010.
I used DVD shrink to backup my DVD into on .vob file on my computer.
I then used VirtualDub to convert to avi. Settings as described here: VirtualDub-MPEG2
