    "Tearing" during video playback?

    Hi all,

    I was wondering if others experience "tearing" during fast-moving scenes of video playback on their M6? (i.e. this is similar to the "v-sync" issue of PC graphics where the rendering rate is different to monitor sync, producing "tearing" artifacts). Just wondering if this is a known issue, and if it can be fixed in any way?

    (For a better explanation of what I mean, see here: http://www.virtualdub.org/blog/pivot/entry.php?id=74)

    Cheers,

    {R}

    Thanks... perhaps you could point me to some of the topics? A search for "tearing" reveals only this thread and one other with no replies.

    there are three things you can do to minimize the effect : lower your bitrate and don't use fullscreen. Everything that unburdens the Meizu chip helps a bit, while not totally negating the effect. With fast camera movements you still see the tearing line.
