I know there are many threads asking for video help- if my question is among them I missed it when I searched.
I've tried videos I have that came as avi files. None of them work. I know there's software to convert from one codec to another. What software and setting do I need to play my avi files on the miniplayer?
Thanks

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsYes, you need to convert the avi files to the smaller resolution and frames per second for the meizu to play it.
Try BatMan, it's the one I use:
BatMan - einfache Stapelverarbeitung für MEncoder
The above link is in German but the program has english and is very easy to use.I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.

besides the above(good) option... there is a totally pre-set converter that comes with the player(on the cd in the box
)
