newbie video question

I know there are many threads asking for video help- if my question is among them I missed it when I searched.

I've tried videos I have that came as avi files. None of them work. I know there's software to convert from one codec to another. What software and setting do I need to play my avi files on the miniplayer?

Yes, you need to convert the avi files to the smaller resolution and frames per second for the meizu to play it.

Try BatMan, it's the one I use:

besides the above(good) option... there is a totally pre-set converter that comes with the player(on the cd in the box )
