help. sync issues

hi. i've bin usinf the converter that i got with the miniplayer. the visuals are great but the audio is out of sync. its kinda annoying. i was wondering if anyone cud help me solve this problem. i'm new to this

Yeah, the converter that comes with the miniplayer isn't very good. I've tried Smartvd and Batman. Sorry....I don't have the links, but do a search for these two converters. Both work well, but I switched over to Batman because my computer started locking up with SmartVid; it never happened before, just recently.

ok i found batman. draged and droped da file on the icon and pressed enter and it closed. wat does this mean? it didnt ask to specify sumwhere to save da converted file so i gues i did sumthin wrong. can u help plez. yea i kno newbies must be really annoying

Hi souljah,
- which operating system ? (if Vista, you have to set the BatMan.exe to Administrator rights !)
- what extension does your video have ? (.avi ?)
- does this happen to all videos you tried ? Even to different types ?
- what happens exactly on the screen before it closes ?

I have the same problem, Im on XP sp2, video's are AVI. Worked with one video then since it screws up on everything. Screen says something like error unexpected end of file or something but it happens so quick I cant really tell. Its a shame, Batman was good.

ok, but let's keep it in the other thread since technical problems with BatMan are off-topic in this case.
btw, this is crucial information : don't ever try to convert files that have "&" in file name or path, that does not work.
