Pictures load slow, do I need to rotate?

Hi all, since I've added some wallpapers onto my m6 the pictures take around 20 seconds to appear. Also, the thumbnails of the default meizu pics dont show up anymore. The wallpapers are 320x240 in jpg format. Does rotating them help the m6 load pictures faster?

To display quickly, they need to be in portrait format, like a PDA screen. Landscape pictures have to be rotated by the chip.

That would be rotating 90 degrees clockwise, right?

It's strange how Meizu themselves did not rotate the default pics.
