How To Make Your Video Work

I Have read several threads on here that are complaining or bitching about this player dying or blanking and not coming back...

WELL let me tell you I went thru the same thing with my player when trying to play a video I converted. I thought it was the end of my player as it locked up and would do nothing... I RESET my player by pressing the ON/OFF BUTTON and the ENTER key using page 7 and page 28 of the user manual. this will take about 20 to 30 sec holding the buttons and then turn the player on.

I started experimenting using different converters and found that using a convertor called SUPER was the best.

use the following parameters and you will be amazed at what this little player can do... I have 8 full length movies on my player and am VERY HAPPY..

VIDEO CONVERTER CALLED SUPER parameters:

1. Output Container select - AVI

2. Output Video Container Codec select - DIVX

3. Output Audio Codec select - MP3

4. select - MEcoder

VIDEO SIZE select - 320:240

ASPECT select - 4:3

FRAME/SEC select - 15

BITRATE select - 384

OPTIONS select - HI QUALITY 48K AUDIO

AUDIO

SAMPLING FREQ select - 48000

CHANNELS select - 2

BITRATE KBPS select - 128

DVD LANGUAGE select - DEFAULT

when you are ready to convert press the ENCODE button then you will be ask for the RENDERED FILE OPTIMIZER select - DIVX and OK.. Now wait until the file is rendered..... :DENJOY

once you copy the file/files to the player be sure to turn the player OFF and then back ON to sync the files... ENJOY:D

if you go to "http://home.comcast.net/~moongas/AVI/Ratatouille.avi" you can download a small file that I converted and plays GREAT !!!!

FOR THOSE THAT HAVE BAD MOUTHED THE PLAYER..

Ah, i just wondered how long it would last to see your reply, BobbyQ.

Super is a good program, but 15 fps (next step is 23,98 ) is no great pleasure
to watch.

Be kind, he is full of enthusiasm so let him enjoy his success.
Maybe he will find out later, that it is possible to get even better results.

GET an EDUCATION was refering to get an education as to the player that they were bashing....

you should try 23.98......... won't play......

this will be my last post for this site as I was only trying to help those that really like this player and for the ONES that are BASHING the MEIZU.... don't know

I have tried CUCUsoft, Media Converter, Virtual Dub, and about 10 other programs and all have either skipping video or sound sync problems..... SUPER has none of these with full length movies I converted...

Cool down, it is good when you try to help others, even if some don't appreciate it.

I'm sorry, but your solution is not the best (though it may work)
and as i mentioned above, super is a good program.

P.S.: i know that 23,98 fps don't work - but it is the next step in 'super', so it's not the best converter for m6.

Whether its a good program or not, it was wrong to post it in more than one place, that comes across as spamming the site. Its great you like the program, but shouldn't force feed it to people.
Some have luck with one program over another, for some SUPER may not work good for their needs.

you can manually select the fps :P just click on "more"
