My total youtube to M6 solution

I spent hours last night trying to get a smooth playing video with no crazy audio problem like you frequently get with .flv conversions.

1. For those of you who do not know how to download youtube videos I use this method http://www.hiphopmusic.com/best_of_y...ave_youtu.html

2. Convert the .flv file to a raw avi with this FLV converter http://www.ripzor.com/flvconverter.html

3. Finally I use the MZ Video Converter MZ Video Converter

I hope this is helpful. I sure wish I had this post last night.

You can simply download the video and convert it in one step withe the Loli Video Converter^^

BatMan can do it too.

I had a lot of trouble converting the .flv's with Batman and Loli. I had bad audio/sync problems with Batman and the video with Loli was all screwed up

SOOO easy and u can get Mp3's too. so much simpler, wish i had always used it instead of dealing with mp3's..

u dont thik it will ever get taken away do u? for helping to get stuff off youtube = wrong?

I just use a firefox plugin download helper that lets you download youtube vids and pretty much any vids from the net. I'm not sure where i got it tho..

wow !!..I used to go from flv to avi using total video converter and then with the meizu converter.. now I can get more stuff in less time.. Thank´s a lot

Just a comment about Youtube videos...

Don't expect too much of them as those videos are reduced in all its parameters to be able to fit them in small spaces. I've posted some good videos and It have been converted by Youtube to a really low quality managed very good by Flash/Sorenson codec.

Resulting resolution is 320 by a variable range around 240 in a bitrate of about 290 kbps at a good 25 fps.
Sound is monophonic recorded at 22 Khz in a bitrate of 64 kbps, which is really poor.

Many Youtube videos are in its source slightly out-of-sync.
Then it's not strange that resulting videos are a bit disappointing.

I just hope that some day Meizu engineers implement FLV native as many other Chinese manufacturers have done, to not convert them..

I think flv is a silly format :X it's ok for utube to video stream, but for people who want them on your pc other formats are probably better imho.

You are right... The thing is... from time to time appears good clips not available in other places... I, as a rock fan, I've found good material there but unfortunately with horrible sound.

I agree with lite. i use http://vixy.net to download to avi and then i use Batman to convert it to meizu friendly.

BTW Major props to bobbyQ for making batman

Flv is actually an awesome format that has an insane compression ratio for some reason google/youtube just choose not to use it to its full potential for an example of how good youtube videos could look check this out

and yes it takes a long long time to buffer but thats because of the size and bitrate the had to encode it at to trick/bypass the youtube converter.

Indeed it's an awesome format as any other you can choose to encode your movies... yours have enormous differences with Youtube standard format explained by me some messages above:
. video codec: pure sorenson H263
. screen resolution is insane: 960x684 at 3950 kBps!!!
. audio codec is mp3 at 320 kBps stereo... cool!
. module size is also insane: 11.55MB for 25 seconds of video...

A standard Youtube requires 7.4MB for 3 minutes video... but there is a more important issue...
standard FLV decoder included in Chinese MP4 won't play it.
