Half my pictures invisible
Hi you all
I've made some 40 maps with pictures, converted all my pictures to 320 x 240 with the same program. Transferred them to my Meizu M6 in the map pictures. So far no problem, but when i wanna have a look at them, some maps open and i can watch them all, and some maps open and he doesn't see any of the pictures inside. I'm using the lates firmware. All pictures are the same format size etc etc.
Who can help ???

I think its a bug with the pictures viewing. Other people have had this problem too. No solutions so far.

I have had this too. The Meizu has problems with too many subfolders. Try this :
/PICTURES/subfolder/pic.jpg
and it will work (if the image properties are legal for the Meizu)

I think I have been having the same problem. When I open the 'photos' section the first page of pics loads the thumbnails properly. Then, when I scroll down to see the other images, the thumbnails do not load and there is only a placeholder for the picture. If I click to open it all I get is a black screen. Is this a problem with all M6's or just mine?

I have found that waiting (for far too long) does bring up some of the pictures, but not all of them. Sometimes, it will use the thumbnail from the first 'blank' image as the thumbnail for all of the other blank images. This is an unacceptable problem because the miniplayer is supposed to display images and mine can't even reliably handle 10 pictures (all the right size/format).

Got this problem today with my first showing subfolder.
like this
/PICTURES/subfolder/pic.jpg
the folder had worked for a long time but now it doesn't anymore and now freezes my player.
Can they just fix these stupid bugs once for all!

I have experienced absolutely no problem with pictures, have used subfolders too, and was using it as data storage for some 6MP photos placed in a subfolder, and surprisingly it could view all of them, taking only 4-5 seconds to load each pic.
What firmware do you have?

Well, I've found way out of this by myself.
I think it was properly some kind of an error in one of my pictures.
But maybe should I tell you my solution right now what I did to fix this:
First you can find below my picture I've got this problem with.
You should try downloading it and place it directly somewhere in the "PICTURE" folder on your player. Maybe in a subfolder would be nice. I recommend placing it together with at least 5 more pictures in the same folder.
Then tell us your experience when you displaying this folder with your Meizu M6
You should maybe notice some or all of the thumbnails in that folder will not be displayed immediately, and the player will maybe stop responding for a while if you select a picture.
You can as Pedro88 describing wait a moment (30 sec.) and the player will unfortunately brings up the thumbnails/pictures and will start working again.
To fix this, connect the player to your computer again, find the picture and then you simply need to rotate the picture and then rotate it back again.
Example in Windows XP you can easily do it by pressing the two buttons like I showing you in the second picture below.
Alternative you can open the picture in a program and then re-save it will also work nicely on this problem.
I think it just handle about to update the picture somehow, but by only changing the filename is unfortunately not enough.

SP 2003.2
Yes I know it's not the last one, but I have also test this with SP 2004.6 today and here my player is still freezing. But SP 2003.2 might be best with this little experiment.

Scared?
I’m really missing a comment below to confirming my theory.
You can easily delete the picture again from your player and everything should be fine again.
It's harmless.

Well, I can confirm that the picture messes up my M6 alright. No thumbnails are shown. In fact, after opening the broken image, the whole display is black (but the meizu seems to be working, because I can shut it down, I just can't see that it shuts down). Deleting the picture through the browser makes everything work again.

Great to hear I'm not alone with this.

I just installed 2004.6 today and still have the same issues. It only seems to happen when there are enough images in one subfolder to require a second page. If there are only a couple of images and they can all be displayed on one screen, then everything is fine. If there are too many images for one screen, then only half of the thumbnails load.
