Video Problems

Hi,
I downloaded the video 'Everybody's Free' (both parts) and i putted it on my Meizu but when i want to play the video the screen flashes for half a second and it goes back to the menu.
It also happens with other video's that i have tryed to put on it, and they have been converted with the software that was included with the Miniplayer (VirtualDub)

What did i do wrong?
can someone plz help me?

hello,

How big are the converted files?
and what settings did you use during conversion?

i tryed it with a video of 98.5 MB and one of 770 MB, and the video 'Everybody's Free', i just unRAR-ed it and converted it with virtualdub (except the Everybody's free video).

I Don't use firmware nr 10 but nr 9 and about the settings off virtualdub, i just inputtes the files and used 'autofit'.
i saved the files and dragged to my video folder on my miniplayer

In this thread Absolutely the best results for video quality and steady looking fps
i have found a video of lotr and i worked perfectly on my mp3 player!!
it was the first one that actually works so than what is the problem with the other video's??
maybe it is the converter. because the firmware has been upgraded for several times?

Yes but for example i wanted to convert a videoclip of about 3min but they get extremely large like 700 MB!
so what should i do? because that lotr movie was also 3 min but that was only like 16MB.

For more than one hour movies, if you don't want to cut it in several parts, use virtualdub :

VirtualDub-MPEG2

It works fine, i've tried it with 4 or 5 movies and have no problem
