I don't get how dial-up internet has anything to do with video converting...

Use programs like DVDshrink and then convert using appropriate converters.

I think what he means is that he cant download movies of series

i assume however your dail up is not too slow to download an installation file for a conversion/ripping program?

The short answer : copyright prohibits to rip protected material from a DVD.
The long answer : if you really still want that, you may use any well-known DVDRipper (e.g. DVDShrink or AutoGKnot) to create a normal DivX movie in the first place, and then convert it to the M6 with a converter of your choice (e.g. the Meizu Video Converter).
Some programs may even do that in one step, but since that is not legal in some countries, you'll have to find out yourself (use forum search )

    Not in all countries :P

You are able to directly rip from a DVD with MEncoder using libdvdcss. BobbyQ, is your batman capable of that? Or do you need a customly compiled MEncoder with libdvdcss compiled in. (As far as I know, it is not illegal in Germany. And I can at least legally compile you an MEncoder with libdvdcss here in Holland.)
