    resize IMAGES? help.

hi guys. i'd be getting my m6 miniplayer soon. in about weeks.

i have quick question that is, i would be loading many photos into it and some are pretty big.

is there a need to resize it to 320*240?

is it reccomended because i know some pictures will look distorted ..

I have loaded images up to 2080x1544 with no problems although the larger the res the longer the image takes to load.

Use free and easy softwares like Picasa from Google to do this.

also resize your album art to 100*100 or something, it doesn;t look good when it takes a few seconds to load...

Actually, for resizing I would recomend the well-known Irfanview. It has a better algorithm available: Lanczos, instead of bicubic. It is also 20x faster to start up, so I'd say it's more suitable for quick jobs.

Always consider sharpening a little bit after a resize (press shift+S once or twice in Irfanview).

    dead link
    But have found a alternative.
It nearly can't be more simple and easy with this program.
Also nice for the background images.
