I ordered the Meizu M6 4GB Black yesterday, should be getting it in 9 hours with the mail...I just can't wait when I buy gadgets like this. I'm buying this primarily to watch videos and listen to music.
I've been around this forum checking all kinds of posts, but I have a couple of questions, maybe some of you can answer (some of) them?
1) I read somewhere that videos CAN be watched on the M6 without encoding them, because the M6 can correct the size of the video, although it uses more power. But can it also auto-rotate it? And will the video not be watchable without converting it?
(It's really annoying encoding a movie, it takes minimum 30 minutes(at least with my PC).)
2) Ipod-optimized videos. Are those watchable on the M6? Because I have seen sites where they provide downloads for Ipods...will they not be compatible? This way, it would be much easier than encoding every single video clip.
3) Are mp4's compatible with the M6?
(I bought the M6 because of the awsome reviews everywhere it was reviewed!)

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsTake it as this. The M6 only supports *.avi files.
I am not sure about what kind of encoding it needs.Meizu M8 MiniOne

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsok, here's what i can tell you from what i do know. i'm not an expert as i use my m6 primarily for music so you can ignore me if you want. :D
1)no can do. videos have to be ecnoded properly, within the video parameters of the m6, in order to play then on the m6. so that means the video has to be 320x240 in size and at most 20fps. i forgot what bitrate it's supposed to be but you can search for that in the forums.
2) and 3) as far as i know, mp4 is the video format used by the ipod. the m6 does not play these files so in short, no the m6 will not play ipod videos, which are also mp4 videos.
guys, please feel free to correct me. as i said, i'm no expert on video. :D

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI just got it...REALLY surprised by the size of it, EVEN though I have seen hundreds of photos and videos with it...! When it's in your hand, it's really different...
I converted 2 movies yesterday, with 2 different apps..One with Video Converter and one with VirtualDub..None of them worked...And just now I tried converting The Daily Show with Jon Stewart with Winmenc and the Winmenc M6 profile...Works perfect, except there is an audio delay about 0,5 sec...What's the problem?
