Video Rotation Advantage

    im not sure , i assumed that it would just play at the wrong angle if you didnt rotate it , but because you brought up the question im doubthing myself.

    rotating the video by 90° is better because m6 doesn't need that much resources to play it (the sample video which was on the meizu is also rotated by 90°)
    if you don't rotate the video it will "break" horizontally (i don't know how to say it, sorry ), but if you do it will look much better because the vertically breaks are not that noticeable. that's my opinion.

    Make sense - i have problems with 'horizontal breaks' in my video converter with not rotated video. But i think there is no way how to add subtitles and rotate video in mencoder in one step that will not produce crap output. Or do you know how to do it?

    yeah i also think that's not possible in mencoder, but in virtualdub it is.

    It is possible in memcoder us this option in video filters

    rotate=1

    or if command line

    -vf rotate=1

    yes, but They want rotate AND add subtitles... hmm.. VirtualDub only?

    No, i found a way on web how is it possible with mplayer.
    I will change my video converter to do it this way ...
