Video converter doesn't work:S

Well.. maybe in your case its about Vista, try an XP machine

I run Vista and i use the standard converter with no problems at all

machiel, I have the same thing in Vista no responce when the convert button is pressed. Just use one of the other converters mentioned in the forum.

weird... i just had the same problem trying to convert a file from our local FTP.
wasn't working until i moved the file on my desk.

Okay, I'm using the converter software that came with M6.....

How do I tweak the settings so it's full screen video and doesn't have the bars on the top and bottom?

juss got my minplayer hours bak.....the same problem with video converter...

this soln works for me on vista
goto the folder where you installed the videoconvertor...
change the properties of the VideoConverter.exe file
1. compatibility tab - check the box where it says "Run this prgm in comptblty mode: and select win xp in the box below the checkbox.
2. privilege level " run this prgm as admin" select the check box..

this is a basic fix for all prgrms that dont yet have a vista version...if the prgm can run on xp..then this can solve the prblm...

i just got a Meizu M6 Miniplayer

i installed the video converter thing and it worked fine for that day..
i was using ares tube to download videos from youtube (into .mpeg) and then converted them into avi Xvid using the Video Converter and it went smoothly when i tested them on the miniplayer it worked fine
but.. the next day i downloaded more stuff from youtube and tryed to convert them into avi Xvid using the Video Converter and when i pressed the start button nothing happened
what the hell's going on?

Hi cow, I have tried this "ares tube" program a minute ago, and wasn't even able to download a youtube video with it .. so I couldn't test anything.
If you send me a video saved with ares, I will see what I can do for you.
