Watching Movies?!

Hi!
I'm on the verge of getting a miniplayer but was wondering if it is worth watching movies on it or is the screen too small.
Thanx
(PS. This is my first post)

Lets say its okay to watch a episode of Family Guy or South Park but i think for movies like Saw or something else ist just a little bit too small, but thats what i think.

I want to buy it for Family Guy and anime like Blood+ mostly, maybe for serials like Heroes too, it not make any sense to convert full movie and lost 1h to watch 1h30min movie, but hey, people watch full movies on their mobiles like k750i witch have 1,8" and terrible video player x)

i think it's large enough to enjoy a movie on it, however 4:3 movies are more enjoyable because they fill the whole screen not like 16:9 ones. and brighter movies are also better in my opinion.

I'm using the player to watch a 45 minute episode of a series.
And I must say this goes down very well without eyestrain at all.
Just do not watch it in a brightly lit room.
As for the 16/9 problem, try to get rid of the black bands so you can enjoy the whole screen; (see a post of mine "using pan and scan"

I've watched quite a few full-length movies. It's actually very usable, and you get used to the small screen. The ultra-fast scrolling makes it very easy to pick up from where you left off.

The screen is a great size compared to its body size. You can't get another player with that great of a size contrast.

I watch the simpsons and other anime on it, and its fine!

i personally think 2.4 inch is too small to watch a film on. When i first saw the 2.5 inch screen on the Cowon D2 i was shocked about how small it really was. I'd say persoanlly 2.8 inch is the smallest id go for film watching. Episodes would be ok though.

I think long videos are good on that size screen, I had one of those real shitty mp4 players with a 1.8 screen from ebay and it had terrible video quality but I still watch a full movie on it.

I think its time Meizu made a wide screen version of the miniplayer that can sustain 30fps with video output
