    MZ Video Converter

New program released by Meizu on the 9th of October, 2006. It is based on Mencoder and is very easy to use, no configuration needed and it rotates the video as well.

    Unfortunatelyyou cant change many settings
You can however, depending on the output filse size you would like to have change KBS settings and sound.
As I usually just watch Southpark or so i lower the soundsettings from the standard settings. I manage to get a SP episode down to about 50 MB or so...

Um quick question. So I am trying to use the video converter right now....I opened a video file to convert and hit "start" Now it just sits there and the only button I can click is "stop" meanwhile the new video file appears and has 0 byte size and there is no indicator in the video converter program to tell me how far it has progressed. I can't tell if it is converting or frozen or what can someone clarify please?

it's not a problem, file size is showing AFTER the whole process, and the progress of the convertion is displayed in the middle of the program's window (greyed out area)

hey, I use Linux too (ubuntu)
and run video converter under wine.
i dont know why but lately it started popping up errors so I reinstalled and now it works perfectly except if doesn't output a file???
running in terminal shows nothing out of the ordinary except
'fixme:quartz:AVISplitter_ProcessStreamList fccType iavs not handled yet
err:quartz:Parser_Destroy pinref should be null, is 1, destroying anyway'
has this ever happened to you?
(btw i did set the file path right)
dw if you dont know anything about this kina thing,
    I dont either

I don't use wine so I don't know. I use M.O.V.E. on Mepis Linux to convert DVD to meizu compatible avi: M.O.V.E. (My Own Video Encoder) KDE-Apps.org and it works pretty good. Read the post to download the setting files for meizu and set the vertical orientation on the image tab.
    Cheers
