Video getting slowly out of sync (approx. 1 second per hour) still happens and is a bug in the firmware. No way to fix it if not Meizu staff themselves. They have been informed about that more than once. Let's pray they tell their one software developer to take a break from M8 and fix a few of the most annoying M6 bugs.
Apart from that, BatMan still produces very sync audio, but this bug cannot be worked around in any way. Just hit FF or RW for a moment and everything is sync again. Not a big thing to me.
If anybody finds a solution to that (which I doubt at this moment) - let me know.

@Hyzenthlay and others : I don't recommend using YAAI to change anything concerning the a/v synchronization since the video IS SYNC. It will NOT help.
The Meizu just "loses grip" slowly. Fix with FF or RW when it grows too annoying (usually after 45 minutes).

BobbyQ. Wereas I would say Batman is the better conversion out there, once you figure out the steps, I do notice some movies being out of sync right away, on the computer. For instance when I did "We Were Soldiers" it was off by 0.25 sec throughout the movie....YAAI took care of that almost instantly....

I don't know about the losing time as a movie plays...I haven't actually watched a 2 hour movie all the way through yet....

don't play it on your pc, play it on your Meizu and you will see : it plays sync !
This is because the crappy Meizu firmware does not calculate the offset of time that the chip consumes to decode the image. BatMan calculates that in

I downloaded VirtualDub via the following link:

    http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/v...6.zip?download

I haven't messed with the application too much yet, but I can tell it is totally awesome. I was able to adjust the audio delay using the Audio Interleaving function. It worked perfectly. Before I started, my audio was 2000ms ahead of the video! Ouch! Sure it took an extra step, but well worth it.
If it aint broke, don't fix it.

let me sum up the facts again, so apples and pears don't get mixed up :

    1. The M6 plays a movie that is sync on the PC with a delay of approx. 270 ms because the firmware is crap. So every movie that is sync on the PC should be delayed with -270 ms to take care of that. BatMan does this automatically for you (so every movie created with BatMan will be 270 ms offsync if played back on the PC)

    2. The M6 delays audio over time. A movie that starts sync will slowly get out of sync with about 1 sec per 30 minutes. That is a firmware problem too and cannot be fixed by whatever video conversion trick. One short touch on the FF or RW function and it is sync again.

    3. If your original movie is already out of sync on the PC you can fix that by using BatMan's "delay" command. Or use an application of your choice that can modify a/v interleaving, like the above mentioned.

It's amazing what you'll find with just a few searches in Google. I ripped a DVD and the sync was perfect. As soon as I converted, the delay even on the computer was horrible.

So try the following site if your video is out of sync even before copying it to your player.

    http://www.gromkov.com/faq/faq2004-0064.html

This site explains several scenarios for out of sync Audio and Video including:
    • Time delay between Audio and Video stays the same.
    • Time delay changes (increases or decreses).
Best of all, it is free. Check it out!

chrisace, while the info on that web page is not wrong for general video sync problems, they do not apply to the problems occuring with the Meizu M6 !
Please read my above post #47 to see what happens.
Sometimes I wonder why I am spending the time on posting on this forum and people reply with "hey have you tried this program" without even proper reading what others write.
Hopping between one or the other program does not replace learning about the technical details.

I to have also noticed lagging in sound to video ratio.
While mostly it's only a bother in music videos it's still anoying.
I only have bother to download the MZ Video Converter that came with the M6 and when it comes to the AVI and Mpeg videos that I get the best results, when I use other formats like Real Media (which is what I normally download most of my favorite shows like southpark and Bleach in that I get the lagging and other Video problems. Just my experience. AVI and MpEG videos seem to convert best.

Have U got good results ?
I´m trying with virtual dub but even though I almost fix the sync problem I have to go into the meizu converter because the M6 doesn´t let me read the xvid files generated on virtual dub.
    Any suggestion ?

What is the best option we have ?. I´m using virtualdub and a delay of 280 ms, but I also have to go to the meizu converter so the M6 can read the output vids... Is there any way to make a playable vid out of virtual dub ? What parameters to use ?, it seems the xvid codec doest´t work

If you use VirtualDub load your M6 converted video, from the menu bar select Video\Direct Stream Copy, audio should select Direct Stream Copy by default but check to be sure. Conversion should take about 1-2 minutes and the video file should be able to play on your m6 without reconverting.
