Mute Meizu

Yesterday, coming from work, I heard my Meizu M6 SP blaring in my back bag. I obviously had forgotten to activate the keylock so that it had turned on itself. No problem, I turned it off.

During the evening I want to listen some new grabbed music. I browse to my files and press play and the Meizu pretends to play the mp3s as normal. But the earphones remain mute.

Here are my efforts to reanimate the sound in chronological order:

- joggle the player
- joggle the earphones
- browse to another file
- change the earphones
- check the files on laptop
- inspect the volume restriction
- beg for a hum
- yell at it
- search the forum
- soft reset
- update firmware

All to no avail.

Now I think about a hard reset and to use the DFU tools but priorly would like to ask if someone has an idea what could cause this issue. Is there any hope? Or is there something stupid I missed out?
