touchpad problem Help need.

I am using miniplyer M6 SP(1.010.2) model.I think i got touchpad problem when it play songs all of sudden it will randomly start skipping songs and jumping around and also i hear the "click" noise in player.Can any one help me.

maybe you should update your firmware to 2.004.6

With SP models you can calibrate the touchpad if it's malfunctioning. If I remember right you have to press the enter button for a few seconds, then the calibration menu should show up. Follow the instructions on the screen (I think you have to press the play button).
And yes, as Pandastudio said, you should upgrade your firmware too. Follow the instructions in our FAQ.

Thanks, But my M6 is now dead. I follow the instruction given forum but it's not worked.No blink screen nothing. Can you help.

Yep BobbyQ, I tried number of time to switch on my player and lucky it got ON and i downloaded the firmware (2.004.6) and installed. Player worked fine for couple of days. Now again it was dead. It’s not working. I think it’s problem with hardware.

What is it exactly kind of clicks you hear? The button sound check clicks? And this when you not touching the pad?

Yes you are correct the same button sound, and only two time i can able to switch on my player third time when i switch on it not working(Dead).always i am doing format. it's give trouble to me.
