    Big Problem with M6

    Hi,

I have a big problem with my M6.
At first as i bought my M6 it worked perfectly. But then in the last few weeks and months, the player starts to freeze all the time. Only when i pushed the reset-button several times it started to work again. But these errors came back after some time...

Now my Meizu Player was out of energy and so i wanted to charge it. But the player only have a white screen for one second and then it turns black like it would be switched off...

I don't know how this could happen... Did anyone have similar problems ?
And does anyone have a solution for my problem ? I dont know how to get it charged... my original meizu usb wire is damaged and so i took another usb wire. and it worked the first times... but know nothing happens... so i cant even save my data on the m6...

In addition i have a question about the firmware ...
Can it be that the firmware got somehow damaged and that because of this the player does not work rightly ?

And which Firmaware do i need for a normal Meizu m6 player. I always saw 2 different types of firmwares but i couldn't identify which is the one that works on my player...

Do i need the one with S or with T ???

thx for your answers because i don't know what to do... The player is so new and already now it stops working... -.-

Your player version is written on the back of your Meizu

    If your serial number start with a "M6TP", it's a TP, with a "M6SP", it's a SP

Try to install the 2.002.1 SP firmware from here :

    M6 Firmware V2.002

Ok, there was the screen with updating, etc... then it turnde off... i waited a bit and turned it on... the screen "loading" appeared. Then suddenly the screen turned green and the Player said that i hadnt installed the resource.bin... but i did.
And now the play doesnt turn on and it cant be conected to my computer... what can i do ?

EDIT: and i have installed it again after the player said that he needs the resource file...

Then maybe copy the resource file?

Anyhow, this has also been answered numerous times.

hmm... i think you didn't understand me correctly. i did copy it... but now it does nothing... only white screen. I am not sure if i have now a running firmware version on my meizu... Can the player be connected with the PC if he has no running firmware installed ?

Because if this is not possible... i dont know how to get my firmware on the player.

The white screen is probably just your player upgrading.

I'm not completely sure what happens if one tries to abort an upgrade.

    I only did these things:

    1. I copied the resource.bin again.
    2. I turned the player after a little while on.
    3. The player showed a wrong image: only a grey box without the normal writing in it and other typical mistakes in the image like some stripes etc...
    4. The player got a black screen.
    5. After trying to restart it it showed a white screen when pressing the enter button or when connecting it with the pc.

So i dont aborted the upgrade...

It seems that you have installed a wrong version of the resource. But now the computer doesn't recognize it anymore?

    Have a look here: http://www.meizume.com/index.php?page=recovery

I installed M6_t1.010_rc4.rar ! I have checked my serial-number, because of that i am sure that my player is a TP player ! damn...
i tried those first steps but they dont work... and i dont want to loose my warranty by using a dfu-tool. so i have to let it run out of battery i think...

why does this player make so much trouble ? -.-

Update ! I have used DFU-Tools... Ok, everything run perfect but when it was ready the plyer didnt show the efect i want to see... Now he gets shortly a white screeen when pushing the power button and the screen gets again black... now i tried again to format the hard way... and now my player is always black... even if i press buttons... was the formatting successful ? or had the screen to show a box with "formating..." or something ?

EDIT: Omg... :D I go crazy... now I pressed Enter a long time and now the player reacts the same way he did before using DFU-Tools...
