Meizu charges, but won't turn on after replacing battery

Hello friends, my battery for my meizu m6 SP had recently died so I decided to replace the battery with another of the same voltage like madman did in this thread:
    http://www.meizume.com/miniplayer-m6...requested.html

The new battery is identical to the one Madman used as it is 3.7 Volts and 2200 mAH. After hooking up the new battery, my player worked perfectly for for a day. The next day I take it out (I keep it in my pocket while I walk around) and it just won't turn on. I connected it to my computer and the charging screen comes on, and I checked all my connections and wires that could have been abused in my pocket and replaced them, but it still won't work. any help?

p.s. I did do a search, but I didn't find anyone with players that would charge, but wouldn't turn on.

It's just weird that it worked perfectly after I replaced the battery, then just mysteriously stopped working

I've tried all the resetting button combinations, but I waited on the DFU tools incase some of you could find a problem first

Hi and welcome to the forums! Did you leave the back cover off, or did you drill a hole? If you left it off, your player most likely died because of static electricity, electronics are extremely sensitive to static. If not, then your best bet is to try a firmware update, if that fails, go to the link in my signature and try DFU Tools, it won't brick your player if you do it right, i promise. Hope this helps!
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

Players: Meizu M6 SP 4GB, iPod Touch 4G
Headphones: SoundMAGIC PL-50s, Auvio In-Ear Armatures, Bose QC-15s.
Current Audio Congifuration: X-Fi Elite Pro w/LM4562 Mod -> Mission MS-50 + Boston Acoustics Subwoofer

I did drill a hole, and I suspected that static had something to do with it. Could static have killed my meizu in my pocket if the back cover was on, but with a small hole (2mmx1mm) in the side?

Is there a way to recover from the static because enough of the circuit is "alive" as it can still charge and turn on to the charging screen.
