Ebooks

I just wondered what the ability to read ebooks actually means. As far as i know it is not possible to read .pdf - files.
So are .txt documents the only "ebooks" i can read with my nice little meizu?

I'll be glad if they implement .pdf-reading as well.

yep for now only txt from my knowledge. I doubt they would implement pdf only because of its format and structure. As its really a image and unlike txt, the player cant identify text on the pdf to put onto the next line like it can with txt files. Otherwise scrolling would be a killer and you wouldn't want to view pdf's really small.

That's correct, but aren't most real "Ebooks" .pdf-files? I guess I can argue whatever I want - it simply doesn't work

So I have to find .txt Ebooks - or convert them?
I'll find out.
