How to make my computer recognize "Unknown USB Device"

Hi !

I have a problem to make my computer connect to my Meizu M6
,infact I have never had contact with it. Any suggestions what USB drivers
i should use ?
I have tried two different Meizu M6 but with no result. My mate took it home and it connects with his computer. I have tried XP and XP Media Center
, but there is no go.
Suggestions anyone.... ?

Best Regards,

did you connect it directly to the PC or via a USB-hub? And your miniplayer is turned on while connecting?

Does your computer recognise other USB Universal Mass Storage devices? Like USB sticks and such?

I had that problem recently when using FM v2.002.1 and I just turned it on/off a couple of times and then upgraded to FM v2002.3.

Not sure what was the problem...mabye a corruption in the filesystem...I dont really know.

USB cable matters

I recently had this problem too. For some strange reason, it would work on my main computer running XP, but neither my media PC (also running XP) nor my Vista laptop would work.

Then I realized the USB cable on my main computer has a RF choke (little barrel shaped addition) that I believe limits interference. Just like the USB cable that comes with the Meizu. When I switched cables, this fixed EVERYTHING.

i think its the usb cable you are using.
if your driver list is updated and you are using windows xp service pack 2, you should be able to connect.
if you arent using xp, google to download drivers.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers
you should see - USBSTOR -
if you see this, you are ok.

i had problems like yours, couldnt connect, but i found out its the usb cable.
try to unplug all devices from your computer, printer, camera etc.
and try it.
