Hi and Welcome to MeizuMe. Try getting another set of firmware files here. Make sure you get the correct set of firmware for the player version that you have. Turn your player over and the 3rd and 4th digits in your serial number should determine your player version (SP, TP, SL, T1). Get the corresponding firmware and extract them to your desktop. Then just drag and drop the two files into your player's icon in "My Computer". Hope this helps.
@JkPwNsTeR, I think he/she meant WinRAR won't correctly extract the two files. This happens to me sometimes too.If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.
Players: Meizu M6 SP 4GB, iPod Touch 4G
Headphones: SoundMAGIC PL-50s, Auvio In-Ear Armatures, Bose QC-15s.
Current Audio Congifuration: X-Fi Elite Pro w/LM4562 Mod -> Mission MS-50 + Boston Acoustics Subwoofer

Hmm... If WinRAR can't do the job, try 7-Zip.

Could you explain your problem in detail? I'm not sure what you mean by the resource.bin file is corrupted, do you mean the player won't accept it or the computer can't "extract" it?

Oh I see now. I think they mean that the drive is corrupted and you cannot move any files onto it.
Try doing a format of your player, then move the M6.ebn and Resource.bin files into your player's drive. If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

Thanked 1 Time in 1 Postthis is the problem.
one day..i tried to turn on my m6player and then the 'green screen, need to upgrade resource' message popped up.
so, i went on the forums and tried everything to fix the problem, but when im up to the part to "EXTRACT" the file "RESOURCE.BIN" it will say its corrupted.
so the problem is.
when ever i try to extract the 'resource.bin' file, my winrar will have a message saying that the file is corrupted.
this is the message:
M6_T2.004.6.rar: CRC failed in resource.bin. The file is corrupt
please help!

Try getting another firmware from the M6 resources link in my signature. It seems that you may have not finished downloading the file, and you only have part of it.
Also, make sure that you are using the correct firmware for your player. It will say like so:

This is very odd... I'll extract them and attach them. Just tell me what revision of M6 you have.

You look on the back of your player, look at JkPwNsTeR's post (#9)and it will tell you what version you have. And do you already see the Resource.bin and are trying to extract that? The Resource.bin is what you put into your player, you don't extract it.

Thanked 1 Time in 1 PostVersion: SL
@barry

I've attached the resource.bin and the M6SL.ebn files to this post, try downloading these.
Make sure at first you just plug in your player and copy the resource.bin file to the root of your player (the folder with "MUSIC", "PICTURES", "VIDEOS", etc.).
EDIT: oops, forgot to attach. It won't let me upload it as the .ebn and .bin files, so I'm attaching it as a zip which you should be able to open with Windows Explorer.Last edited by JkPwNsTeR; 03-21-2009 at 03:57 PM.

I know it shows up as a WinRAR file, but just don't extract it. Have you tried formatting your player yet?
