idea: M6 as USB DAC

it just came into my mind, that (at least from a naive POV) the M6 has the capability to act as DAC.
this could be a big added value.

(the sad reason for this idea: my total bithead has blown the right channel of the ad8397 the third time now and i get tired replacing it.)

what do you think?

I guess it is possible, but it has to be programmed to do so. Maybe you can ask the Rockbox DEVs to implement this. Not a bad idea either.
