MiniPlayer M6 T1 white screen after fw update

I have one of the original T1 miniPlayers, I tried to do a firmware update to the 2004.6 fw, and it worked for a little while, but now all I get is a white screen. I can hear clicking when using the slider, but that's all I can get it to do.

I can still connect to it as a USB drive. I tried loading 2003.2 firmware, but I can't tell if it's even shutting off or not. DFU tools doesn't seem to connect at all.

    Any suggestions?

Try re-loading the T2.003.2 firmware. Make sure you use the T firmware. Then unplug your player. Hold down the enter button for 20 seconds until the screen shuts off, then restart and leave it for 5 minutes. When you come back, turn it back on and it should be fine. If that does not work, follow the link in my signature. Hope this helps!

Is there a reliable location to get it from? I used the f/w with the DFU tool I downloaded. It would be nice to know I have the right flavor.

Thanks for the quick reply, by the way

You should be able to get it here:Meizu Firmware Archive

Edit: Did you download it from my attachment? If you did, that was meant for SP Players, Not T1. For the link above, download the TP firmware and use that.

The links in the first post of that thread are bad. I found a link to the official Meizu site firmware archive farther down in the thread.

I got the 2004.6 firmware, and it at least got me away from the blank white screen, and back to a functional unit instead of an inadequate doorstop.

Thank you for your help, mbarry.
