    clicksound

when i startup meizu m6, sometimes i hear a clicksound and the cursor jumps up & down, skipping sound ,...just flipping arround.
it's not always but most of the time. restarting the player does not always help.
I've done also the touchpad control by pressing enter for 3 sec.
What's the use of it, can you calibrate the touchpad just by sliding over.
sometimes it's giving an error. how can i resolve this problem?
    my meizu M6: 1.010.2 - SP

is it possible when the new firmware is coming, to publish "a how to do" for all the things that you can do with the M6, such as albumart, skins, firmware,...?

    thanks allready

Do you mean your touchpad just seems to go out of control by itself, even if you didn't touch it? If that's the case, try one thing first - put your hold button on and see if it still goes crazy. If it doesn't, then there is something wrong with your touchpad.

Calibrating your touchpad doesn't really do much in my opinion. All it does is shows that your touchpad is working - you can't adjust the smoothness, nor the degree of sensitivity. Just an extra feature that looks very gadgetmobobby

there is already a FAQ located in the menu bar of the site. this should answer any basic questions you have about upgrading firmware, reset and hard reset, changing skins, etc.

as for the newer functionalities and features of new firmware, members generally create threads to discuss these. maybe once error and marcelo have the time, they could include the newer features in the FAQ.

yes, yhat's it, it goes out of control by itself, even if I don't touch it. If I put the hold button on, it doesn't goes crazy. So there is something wrong with my touchpad?
What's the point of the touchpad control when you can't calibrate it?
When i touch it, i can see allready of it's working or not! so very gadgetmobobby

So i'll have to send it back to China?

Can you check the back to see if the serial starts with T1, TP or SP?

At least we now know the problem. It is your touchpad, in other words, it is a hardware problem.

Since your firmware is the older version, try to upgrade to the newer version V2.001, and tell us what happens then. Make sure you select the SP upgrade. Find it inside "Firmware" section of this forum.

I only said you could try a firmware update, see if it does any good. It's up to you. Don't be so sad.

ok, i did the last firmware upgrade. but the problem still exist.
sometimes when i connect him to the computer it's good for a while, or when i do the upgrade again, player (touchpad) works then for a while.
main problem is that i bought the player on ebay in usa and that i don't know how to send it back.
they sell them now in Belgium also but i don't think they gonna want it there for repair.
can i send it back to Meizu china?

I think you can solve the problem by starting the touchpad control (enter for 3sec.). In this menu don´t touch the touchpad and press the play/resume/power-button.

Now the player reset the touchpad and usually it works fine for me after this.

    hope it will help.

p.s. sorry for my english, i´m not a native speaker :D

yes, i think i had the same problem.

some times my player switch the volume automatically from high to low and back. In the touchpad control menu the player shows me an error by blinking red. And when this happens it helps to reset the touchpad by pressing the play button in the touchpad control menu without touching any other key. after this my player works normal again.
