    M6 battery

Anyone know will the battery die out if I do not turn on my M6 for an extended amount of time? I haven't turned on my M6SL for over 6 months so I am a little concern about that. Anyway my warranty is already over so when my battery runs out, what should be the best option for me to do with my M6?

The battery will eventually die, but the best thing to do is drain the battery to 40%, and put it somewhere cold. That will prevent battery loss. If the battery does eventually die, your best bet is to buy a new one, as when it dies, there are probably many better Meizu products that are even cheaper. Or if you are adventurous, and somewhat proficient at soldering, grab a normal iPod battery from ebay or anywhere else, and de solder the Meizu battery (After you open up your player of course). Take the metal backplate, and drill a hole big enough to feed the iPod battery's wires through. Then solder the iPod battery to the 2 contacts that the original battery was soldered to. Cover it back up and you should be set, and you get amazing battery life as well, but your Meizu will have a battery tied around the back (The iPod battery is too large to fit in the Meizu case, so that's why you have to drill a hole in the back of the Meizu's metal cover, and leave the battery outside of the casing). Or if you don't want it, you could always give it away to someone, or sell it on eBay.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

Players: Meizu M6 SP 4GB, iPod Touch 4G
Headphones: SoundMAGIC PL-50s, Auvio In-Ear Armatures, Bose QC-15s.
Current Audio Congifuration: X-Fi Elite Pro w/LM4562 Mod -> Mission MS-50 + Boston Acoustics Subwoofer

What type of battery does the M6 SL use, and where do you purchase one? How do you open the case?
