I have read the FAQs and mbarry's guide and am still stuck with a broken(and most likely bricked) player.
Before I decide to set out and buy a new player (bought the thing in China on a holiday, not counting on warranty), I wanted to be absolutely sure that it's broken beyond repair.
I basically have the the green screen of "No Resource!" and I have tried connecting to it to my computer with no succes. When turned off, it does charge, but it does not show the battery, just a black screen with a white bar. I'm certain it is charging, because I haven't used it for a few months now(as in, tried to fix it back then, gave up and left it collecting dust) and the batteries should be dead.
Anyway, my computer doesn't recognize it as hardware, whether it's turned on or off. I proceeded to follow the steps described in the guides(Press and hold M+Play and connect) with no succes: my computer still doesn't not recognize it as hardware(In all honesty, I might've screwed up somewhere in the middle :\/).
Seeing as my M6 still responds when it's connected(charging), I'm thinking I might've overlooked something and there's still hope to fix this baby.
I hope some are able to draw a quick conclusion after reading.
Thanks in advance.

What's the flavour of your M6 (TP/SP/SL)? Have you tried both hard resets, as they should clean up your M6's mind (which is low-level format it)?

Don't worry, your player isn't bricked, I had the same problem a while back. Are you sure your player is on when you try to connect to your computer? If it will connect now, just grab a new set of firmware and load it in. If not, try going back to my guide, but scroll down to the bottom, as I have included a link for SL players (My guide was originally intended for SP and TP players). Hope this helps.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.
Players: Meizu M6 SP 4GB, iPod Touch 4G
Headphones: SoundMAGIC PL-50s, Auvio In-Ear Armatures, Bose QC-15s.
Current Audio Congifuration: X-Fi Elite Pro w/LM4562 Mod -> Mission MS-50 + Boston Acoustics Subwoofer

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsThe main problem is that my computer doesn't recognize my player under any circumstance: not when it's turned on and not when I try to connect it as a DFU tool.
I'm thinking my problem might be unique, since most can still connect to their PCs when they got themselves a green screen, or should be able to connect their player through the DFU method(As in, hold M+Play while it's turned off, connect to PC, PC doesn't recognize it as a DFU(or anything else, for that matter)).

Your player should still be recognized when it has the green screen. Are you sure your player is on the green screen when you plug it in? Try following the link in my signature to see if that helps. Hope we get this problem resolved!
