One thread per question is more than enough. Also, was it necessary for ALL CAPS??!!!!

HOW DOES IT FEEL READING THIS? LOOK WHAT A SEARCH BROUGHT ME:

    Video conversion in mac OSX
    Video Settings
OS X Step By Step Guide?

BASICALLY, YOU CAN USE ANY VIDEO CONVERSION FOR YOUR MAC AS LONG AS YOU OUTPUT THE FILES IN A FORMAT THAT THE M6 CAN READ.

You know, that's not the way to talk to the forum admin..

Here's the technical requirements for video on the M6:
    - the following codecs are known to work: DivX, XviD, libavc,
    - don't use b-frames, global motion compensation, or quarter-pel. The M6 doesn't support them,
    - theoretically the M6 video bitrate can go up to 512kbps. In practice, you should keep that lower to avoid playback hiccups and video/audio lag (~304kbps works ok for me),
    - use a maximum of 18-20 frames per second,
    - if you rotate your videos 90º to the left, they will play smoother on the M6 (because it has a vertical screen rotated horizontally).

Now, if you follow the links that Err0r gave you, you will find some more specific information for OSX...

Last time I checked, this is what you would call "normal" English (or whatever your normal may be).

    yes, there is : Windows.

Windows = for non-techy people who just want their things done with no pain. The whole friggin world uses Windows.
Macintosh = for people who prefer design over compatibility
Linux = for techy people with lots of spare time

If you as a non-techy person would have asked a techy friend what computer to buy, he would have adviced you to buy a windows pc.

Macs are really for simplicity, they don't have to be maintained as much as Windows, but you trade compatibility for that.

He probably was just a bit impatient...at least he somewhat apologized.

And plus, that's Err0r's sense of humor for you...

Pertaining to your question, you could install XP on a Mac, or just get a x86 emulator and run BatMan.
If you are having trouble with your player, please visit this thread first and try the steps before you panic. Most likely you will be able to fix your player easily using the steps listed.

ok...... but i don't have any copies of any windows system...... and macs are more simplistic than PCs(windows) the only reason i don't have an ipod is cause this looked just as good but cheaper..... but i forgot bout compatibility issues...... is there a singular program i could download on MAC Osx that doesn't require downloading codecs and other features..... that can convert videos so they will play on the M6?

Search for an open-source all purpose converter for Mac OS if you're not willing to install/use Windows.

I'm not sure, PM BobbyQ for help, since he is experienced with video converters.
