    Volume problem

    Hi,
My meizu m6 has recently developed a problem... It will not play loud anymore.
I can barely even hear it when i'm sitting in a quiet room.
I have checked the volume control and it is set to max, i brought brand new earphones and have tried it on a few other pairs i have lying around but none seem to work. Please help! There's not much point having an mp3 player that you can't hear!

    Cheers.

first of all , make sure that your headphones are really properly plugged in (yes, it sounds cheap, but for some people this was the solution). If you have paid a visit to every setting in the player and don't find anything that could help, then delete your settings.dat and restart your player.
If all else fails, try a firmware upgrade.

If even more fails, and you can return it, then do so.

Yeah the headphones connect properly. I reset it to factory settings and upgraded to the latest firmware but still can't hear anything!

And it's no longer covered under warranty.
Never thought i'd say it, but an ipod could be the solution.

Was it dropped or anything? There could be a bad connection on the Jack, which would require dissassembly, if you are willing to do it. You aso need some basic soldering skills to re-solder the wires on.
