Hey. You've been very helpful to me the last time about M6, so I'll need your help again.

So theres a little problem with my M6sl.
Two days ago i watched a video on my M6SL, then I closed the video and went to the screen where there's music shown (now playing). I turn off the player, today i turn it on. It Updates Music Library wich is weird, because I hadn't connect it to my PC. So It does the music check and says that There is no Music. I do the check again and even from the music folder, where there is the Update Music Lubrary check option. When i go to the browser and search for music, it's there, but it can't play it. The player is NOT locked. So i hook it up to my PC and i can't enter nor the Video, nor music folders. So is there a way to fix all that without loosing the videos, that had been converted and there are a lot of them. And the music ~ about 600 songs.
I hope you got the idea.
[edit]
I tried to update to the latest firmware but now it doesnt even turn on correctly. I yhink i will try a format.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsTomekks, I have your same problem, the player wont recognize song (songs does show up in the update though). And this error appeared after a very strange and slow library update.
First i thought it was a hardware problem because i always leave it in my car and it gets very hot. Now that you also have the same problem, i dont think its a hardware problem but a FW issue.
I also tried format and install the newest firmware, no hope. It could have been a timebomb FW (the 2004.5), because i felt that my player was dying everytime i turn it on and the library updated every time slower, until one day it took like 10 mins and didnt show any song.
If anybody could help with this problem, pls. I still have a old sansa 1gb mp3 player and another iriver 512 mb (very very old ones) but they barely work.
Thanks.
PS: The funniest thing about this issue is that when you try to play one song from the browser, it takes you to the now playing screen and makes a fast countdown/skip of all your songs until it reaches 0 and shows "please select a son to play" never seen my player work that fast.My best and latest skin: Clarity_V1:Touch of nature

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI have the same problem..! Anyone found a fix for this yet? When I browse the music files I see them in the player, but the "All Songs" remains empty regardless of how many times I update the library.

Try a firmware update. Make sure to back up all of your data before you do this, sometimes things may go wrong.

See if the files are there when you browse the with your computer, and make sure they are not encoded with some special format that ends with the extension .mp3. That's all I can really think of, since this is very unusual... As far as I know, no one has posted an issue like yours.

Did this just happen or has it always been like this? If it always has, your files are probably not tagged in a way the M6 supports. If it just happened, try downgrading the firmware to an older one to see if that works. Hope this helps!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI finally found what was wrong. I had installed the SL firmware on the SP player. Just changed the firmware to 2.004.4 SP and it worked like a charm. Thanks Meizume!
It was mentioned in this post: Can`t see files in any folder!

Wait the SP player actually works with the SL firmware? That's really odd, I might try that myself just to see if pressing the return button is the new "on" switch.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsMuisc does not appear anywhere
Every other month my meizu m6sl gets the green screen. Usually it works fine with just upgrading the firmware.
This time it worked, but as i safely removed the hardware from the computer it still showed connected to USB.
Also when I tried to readd the music that was on the player before it crashed, it does not work.
When all the files have been moved into the music folder on the computer and i remove the player from the computer, it quickly updates all the files, or stops after a few and then the screen reads no music or please select music for playing. Also, i have tried to use the update music library feature but it still does not work. I know that there is no problem with the mp3 format of the songs since i have had them on the player before.
I have tried to switch to all firmwares available but i can still not add music with any of them.
When i connect the player to the computer again, the music is gone also here. Not only in the player menu that is as some described happened to them earlier.
Please please help!
